My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cricket
Anatolian Shepherd Mix – Female – Spayed – One Year – Large – 58 lbs – Housebroken

Cricket is a beautiful Anatolian Shepherd mix. She loves playing fetch and willingly brings the ball back for another go! Cricket is very friendly and affectionate and loves a good belly rub. She is housebroken, very neat in her kennel, good on lead and in the car. She enjoys the company of other dogs, especially smaller ones and she just doesn't have a "thing" for those other furry creatures called cats. Cricket has also made another BF, Duncan! These two absolutely love to play together! Cricket actually has Duncan wrapped around her big paws! Are you a fan of Big Dogs? Here are two gorgeous dogs and you will get many laughs just watching these two entertain each other! Cricket will do great with strong and active handlers, so she's thinking a home where there are no small or young children would be best. Older children would be fine and she can have a really good game of catch!

Cricket has one of those special qualities in her that just comes naturally. She would make an amazing therapy dog. She loves visiting nursing homes, memory care homes, and the folks just adore her. They look forward to seeing her each week and she is the center of attention when she walks through the front doors. She'll come right up to their bed and lay her head down for a petting, or she'll gently position her head on their chest if they should be in a wheelchair. Cricket definitely puts a smile on everyone's face.
A fenced yard is required for this gal because she can be energetic at times, but she's still young so that is to be expected.
