Rosie's Story...
Rosie is a wonderful yellow lab mix that was pulled from a shelter in West Tennessee. Rosie has been in a foster home with other dogs but she is an alpha dog so she needs an experience adopter. We prefer that she go into a home of her very own. We have found that she will be very loyal to her family and loves kids. She is great on a leash and love to ride in the car. Rosie is spayed and up to date on her shots. She has been heartworm tested and is current on heartworm prevention and flea prevention. Rosie is currently fostered in West Tennessee. Her adoption fee is only $275 and covers transport to her new home. Please email her coordinator oatsvall973@yall.com for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Glastonbury Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
