Hello there!
My name is Darcy and I am a super cute black kitten that is new to the rescue. Did you know that black kitties like me are often overlooked because of our coloring? I really hope that I am not overlooked because I am such a sweet girl and everyone that meets me says that I definitely deserve a forever home.
I was found as a stray in the park and a really nice lady rescued me and contacted The Kitten Nursery. I am so glad that she brought me in from outside. I have tons of kitten friends in foster care and I love it. I also really like to sit by the windows and watch the world go by… those birds are so entertaining!
I do need to be adopted to a home with one of the kittens in the rescue with me or to a home that has a younger cat that I can play with.
I think that I would do just fine in a home with a dog as long as the dog is respectful with me. I'm good with other cats and kittens. I would just need to have proper introductions done just like any other cat or kitten would require. I would also do fine with kids I believe, but I do have a lot of energy.
I am good about using my scratching posts and I have been using my litter box like a pro, I haven't had any accidents at all in my foster home! If you have a cat tower, I would love that so that I can explore and watch the birds from up high! I also really love toys, my foster mom gave me some toys that make noise and I love to bat them around and play. I keep myself pretty entertained.
I am on the go a lot, I am a very playful kitten but I am also affectionate. So if you are looking for great companion, please do consider me especially since because of my color I will likely be overlooked. But guess what? My hair goes nicely with most of your wardrobe! I bet you won't even find it most of the time. And I am so sweet, don't forget that!
Please consider filling out an adoption application and an awesome volunteer will be in touch quickly! If you have more questions, please email my foster mom at tkn.alicia@gmail.com and she can answer any questions you have about me.
I hope to meet you soon!
Love, Darcy
