Hello there! My name is Monty. I will be 2 years old on February 21st.
I am a recently neutered male Saint Bernard. I also had the gastropexy done (tummy tack).
I use to live with a family but one of my kids were allergic to me. Once my family realized that I was making the kid sick, they made me stay outside. We think that is where my frostbite on my ears came from.
I do have allergies, too. When I eat food with grain, I break out in hotspots. The one on my back and the one on my tail are healing nicely.
I need a family to teach me manners. I do know what sit is but I don't know what down means. Since I am a tall boy, I like to grab anything I can on the counters because there is alway good treats up there.
I love to play with other dogs and I am good with cats.
I am still working on my house training. I sometimes still like to mark but that should go away now that I am neutered.
I would love a family that would let me lay at their feet and sleep with them at night. Would you let me do what?
