Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COURTESY LISTING for WALLY. This dog is not at Oregon Dachshund Rescue. For information please contact Jodi Jones at 208-265-5140.
Wally is 7 years old, neutered and up to date on his shots. He is currently living in a temporary foster home in Port Angeles, Washington, but finds himself looking for a new loving, forever family who will love him and let him love them. We don't have a lot of information about Wally, but his foster family says he gets along well with other dogs and children. Wally is good on a leash and in the car, loves to go to the beach and loves warm stuff from the dryer (as you can see from his photo - he likes to get them before they even come out). His foster family says he is a sweet little guy that is very loving and would be a great lap dog. They also report some minor behavioral issues (getting paper out of the trash, soiling in his crate at night).
ODR, INC. ADOPTION CRITERIA (aka Our Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and children need to be 10 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these issues.
Just a reminder that this is a COURTESY LISTING for WALLY. This dog is not at Oregon Dachshund Rescue. For information please contact Jodi Jones at 208-265-5140.
