Oscar, 5 y/o Male Weimaraner. Oscar was found as a stray and taken to a shelter. His tail is docked and he has an adorable white spot on his chest. Oscar is a big boy, but don't let his size fool you; he is an easy going guy. We have no information concerning cats or children, so we are looking for a home without either. Oscar enjoys toys and chasing a ball, but hasn't learned how to bring it back. He also knows some obedience skills, including "sit", "down", and "roll over". Like all Weimaraners, he's eager to learn more and will welcome your attention. Oscar is going to the vet 1/25/16 to have his eyes checked as the shelter noted some conjunctivitis and possibly entropion upper lids (this is where the lid rolls inward, causing the lashes to scratch and irritate the eye. The prognosis for dogs with entropion is excellent if addressed surgically, which we will do. If the problem is infection, we will get that cleared up asap. Oscar's bio will be updated after he sees the vet next week!) Oscar is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready for his forever home.
