My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tracker is only 4 months old. He is a self confident purebred rottweiler puppy looking for his forever home. We will be very picky with him as he is not damaged good and comes with no emotional issues and we want to keep that way. There are some basic standards that you must meet to adopt this little boy.

He needs to stay living in the Phoenix area

You must own your own single family home with a yard and it must have some grass for him to play on. Pool is a plus but not mandatory.
It must have a private back yard with brick walls enclosing the property, so that he can not escape. Backing up to an ally is not preferred but we will take into consideration.
There must be someone home so that he is only left alone for a maximum of 4 hours at a time. If there are only two adults in the home and you both work 10+ hours a day, you need not apply.
You need to be living on your own and not with your parents still. However your parents are invited to apply for him. We would like you to have basic knowledge of how to train a dog and some experience in it and experience with the breed. We would like everyone to watch the video posted on this webpage http://www.rottenrottie.com/our-rotties.html. Owning a rottweiler is a lifetime commitment to work with and train him everyday of his life. If you do not have any experience with the breed and have never trained a dog, then start studying up on it.
Rottweikers have been listed as the top 10 most expensive pets to own. On average mine probably cost me about $2500 in medical expenses every year. Usually a little bit cheaper as they are young but as they get older it can be expensive. We highly suggest getting pet insurance on your new dog. Because rottweiler in general are prone to so many problems health insurance for him may cost you $50-$100 per month. If you can't afford to pay that then you really can't afford a rottweiler. I have never paid more out for my poicy then my policy paid in on claims. Please only apply if you feel you meet this criteria. Thank you!
