I’m just an old girl that likes the simple life. According to my former owners, I am 11 years old. Life was going great until one day my people took me on an exciting car ride. The fun stopped when we arrived at the local animal shelter… I didn’t understand what I had done wrong. They dropped me off and all they wrote on the surrender paper was that they were having a baby. I was so scared in that place, but thankfully, the nice folks at SCBC showed up and took me to my foster home!
I am currently undergoing some tests for a liver problem and foster mom says I have to lose some weight, but boy do I love eating!
If you are interested in adopting me, I would do best in a quite home with no children or small animals (including cats). I am great with other dogs and love to play!
Ruby’s adoption fee is $100 and an above ground fence is required. An application can be found at http://southcentralbloodhounds.org/available.html.
Ruby is currently being fostered near Dallas, TX, but don’t let the location scare you away. We have an amazing transport network and can arrange to get her to you!
