Foster parents have the first option to adopt. We will provide all you need to foster.
Weight: 17.2 lbs.
Age: 11 months
Personality: Very sweet, affectionate, loves to sit on laps, give kisses, calm
Coat: Soft hair that will require regular grooming. Mostly non-shedding.
Training: Knows sit. Learning.
Potty trained: Work in progress. Will go outside or use potty pads.
Health: Right kneecap a little loose (grade 1), does not require surgery. Walks a little stiff-legged on his left side but vet can't find anything wrong (x-ray is clear). Very mild tartar. Heart and ears are good.
History: Chestnut, his mom and 5 of his brothers were abandoned by their owner at a pet hotel (boarding facility) in S. Korea. They were saved by a dog rescue in Korea. The mom (Hazelnut) and 4 of the puppies including have been brought to the US, to find permanent homes.
Fostered in: Irvine, CA (Southern California applications only.)
Type of home: Family or single person with time and resources for Chestnut and his mom, Hazlenut. They are bonded and ideally we would like to adopt them together.

All dogs are fully vetted, tested for heartworm, microchipped, and up to date with vaccinations.

2. Adoption application approval
3. Meet and greet
4. Home safety check
5. Final approval and adoption finalized
