Prada's Story...
Hi, I'm Prada, and I'm a big sweetie :)

My estimated birthday is Apr 03 and I weigh about 80 lbs. (although I could stand to lose a couple :))

My litter was intentionally bred to produce mini-danes, but I didn't get sold because of my coloring and eventually found my way into rescue.  Both my foster mom's daughters really wanted to keep me forever, but the older one was killed in a car accident and the younger one is in the Army and doesn't have a permanent home yet.  My foster mom loves me VERY much, but she thinks there just might be a forever home that I'm perfect for, so she's posting my info just in case -- if you are that home, please let her know :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Prada, a San Antonio Great Dane/Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/Greyhound for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Great Dane/Greyhound dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/Greyhound breeders who help with Great Dane/Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
