Meet Tonya! This adorable little girl has a loving personality that is sure to melt your heart. Tonya was roaming around someone's house for a whole week before animal control was able to get her. Because she was so scared, they ultimately had to catch her in a humane trap. Despite how scary it must have been, Tonya was never aggressive or snappy and her personality blossomed in a weekend foster home. She loves to play with the other household pets and take long naps with her foster mom. Tonya has also picked up quickly on her house manners and is already house- and kennel-trained. This girl is also uniquely expressive; instead of barking, she will first snap her jaws to get your attention. If that doesn't work, she lets out a single high pitched bark, almost like a yelp, to let you know she wants to play!

At around 2 year old, Tonya weighs in around 12lbs and will not get any bigger. Her submissive personality would make her a great playmate for just about any dog and, although shy at first with people, she quickly falls in love with anyone willing to stop long enough for her to give their hand a little lick! All Tonya wants is a family to shower with as many face kisses as possible. Won't you be that family?

All Dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and given a physical by a veterinarian prior to adoption.
