Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Martin is a Purebred Old English Sheepdog. True to the breed....he acts just like a sheepdog--sweet, funny and adorable. He's a terrific dog and will respond to your love and guidance.
Martin is full grown and about 65 lbs. and like all OES he will need periodic grooming. So you must plan for that about 4 times a year. He has a tail! The breeder didn't dock the tail. Martin was mostly white so he was the last puppy available and by the age of 8 months he hadn't been adopted so they turned him over to the shelter.
About the Breed:
The Old English Sheepdog is stable and happy-go-lucky. It is able to adjust oneself readily to different conditions, is loving and friendly. Loyal, protective and intelligent, it makes a fine family companion. Friendly and gentle, this breed loves and is good with children and is very much part of the family. members. This breed remains puppy-like for many years, and age tends to hit suddenly.
There is a fee for adoption as we are a 501 c 3 non-profit. You will have to fill out an application and we will do a home check. We ONLY adopt our dogs in the San Francisco Bay Area.
