My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Oscar! This tabby-striped fellow is as charming and lovable as he is handsome! Up until recently 2-year-old Oscar was a much loved pet. His owner had been struggling with allergies since the day they got him as a kitten. The decision to re-home Oscar was a difficult one, but for the sake of her health and with a big move coming up it was one that she felt had to be made. Oscar is an experienced house cat (he’s quite good at it) and is content being indoors so long as he gets plenty of cuddles and activity. He loves to fetch and chase his toys and gets really into playtime. He is a quirky cat and often adorably “points” like a hunting dog when we’re interacting with him. No doubt, Oscar has got a lot of charm and spunk. He is looking for a second home that will become his forever home. If that might be yours, contact The Pet Rescue Center today to meet Oscar.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, veterinary exams, and current vaccinations while in our care. This fee helps to defray the costs incurred for these and other pre-adoption expenses.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to save the lives of dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia, and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
