Chicken the teacup chi's Story...
Meet Chicken Little. He is TINY! This little teacup chi is approx. 8-10 years old and weighs a whopping 4 lbs! Chicken is fully vetted (blood work panels, fecal,X-rays) and is in really good health minus his lack of teeth-yep, no teeth. He doesn't seem bothered one bit! Chicken is looking for his forever home in LA with someone who will love him to the moon and stars and hopefully let him cruise around town in their jacket (he loves that!). If you are in the market for a teeny tiny companion please visit our website for an application. www.apurposefulrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chicken the teacup chi, a Los Angeles Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
