Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Have you ever given 100 percent of yourself to everything?! I did not even know that it was possible. Jewel has taught me that it absolutely is possible. This girl is full of spunk and just loves life! Jewel is an all white beauty with precious chocolate chip ears; her foster mom says "her ears are my favorite thing about her". Jewel adores other dogs and is a very playful mate. She would love to have another dog in her forever home, but that is not a necessity. She loves all people, too. She is a very confident pup with a true goofy side. She also shows an affinity for children and happily greets the kids in her foster home when they come home from school. Jewel is a dog that enjoys zoomies in the back yard, but when all that is done she loves nothing more than to cuddle on the couch with her human. She is very food and treat motivated, and this makes her an easy trainable dog. She is also a smart cookie so it doesn’t take long to pick up on commands. If you are looking for a fun, goofy beauty to complete your family, then you should meet her. She may just think you’re the one for her too!
Jewel is a female/sp American Bulldog mix ~August 2015. She is crate trained and house trained.
AS WITH ALL YOUNG PUPS, this puppy will need constant supervision when not crated. Puppies will chew and get into trouble as any puppy would. A puppy needs a leader and someone to teach the basics of house training, obedience, and behavior. At the ages of 10-16 weeks, puppies tend to tire easily and take lots of naps. As they get older, they will need more exercise (walks, hikes, playing fetch, etc) to expend their energy and to be happy and healthy.
Don't get us wrong, we love puppies! However, we also want those interested in adopting a wee canine to make a thoughtful decision, be realistic in behavior expectations, and be prepared to provide proper and kind leadership.
For additional information, please email info@youluckydogrescue.org. Our adoption fee is $250 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions.
