Casper is a male Maltese/Poodle only 1 year old. He has truly gorgeous, creamy soft ivory curls that are non-shedding. His coat is like butter, or like touching a cloud. Casper is an affectionate, loving little guy with a kind, playful side. He has a gentle touch in everything he does, even when taking treats. He will carefully take them from your hand in the most polite fashion. Casper is a snuggle bug and loves to be held and stroked. He just eats it up. He is a real baby boy in nature and will look to his people for care and security. He is good with kids but would probably prefer a more gentle approach as he is not a rough and tumble kind of guy. Casper is great with other dogs, but again seems to prefer smaller dogs who are into mellow, gentle play or maybe easy games of chase. He is not a tussler, but he could win a prize for cuddling! Casper is smart and quickly learns the ways of the household. He walks easily on leash without pulling and has good manners in public. He is definitely on the quiet side, sweet and submissive. Out and about he will probably stick close to your side to feel secure. As he gets older and more confident he may learn to be more brave at the park or in busy places. Casper welcomes company without a fuss and is really delightful inside the home. He is a real winner and we can't believe he came into the shelter, stray, dirty and neglected. We are thrilled with the gorgeous dog that was revealed by a simple trip to the groomer. And he has a fabulous personality besides! Casper is healthy and ready for his new forever home today.
Casper’s adoption donation is $450 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
