My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mr. Reese is a very beautiful and unique Border terrier mix. He is approx 2-3yrs old. Reese will need a special family to call his own. He has had fear issues with people. We believe the fear may have been caused by young children, so his ideal home would be child free. Since, Mr. Reece has trust issues he will need a loving and patient environment in which he can learn to trust his new people. He has flourished in his foster home, and after 5 weeks is now smiling and happy again. He is a very low maintenance dog and is crate trained and housebroken, as he will bark to let you know he has to go out. He is a tough little dog and loves to play, chase, and hunt squirrels outside with his big foster brothers. He would strive in a home with another dog, so he can watch and learn. Unfortunately, no cats for Reece! If left alone too long he can become depressed and withdrawn so the more human contact he can get the better. Once he knows and trusts you he is a big love bug and will never leave your side. He is doing well with his leash training and loves to ride in the car. He is afraid of thunder and loud noises, but he just needs a safe place to go to. We are still working on him being picked up but in time this little guy will be the perfect little companion!
