AARF only adopts in Richmond, Virginia and the surrounding area.

Hi, I am Monte and I'm looking for my new family. I am super affectionate and I love to meet new people and give lots of kisses. I play very well with my foster sister. We chase each other around the yard and play tug with toys. Sometimes I'll howl at her, but otherwise I'm a pretty quiet dog. I'm very snuggly and will cuddle up with you. I live with cats and although I sometimes chase them when they run, I do pretty well with them. Kids are so much fun but I'm not allowed to live in a home with them because I don't like to share my toys with them. If not for that one bad habit, I'd be perfect for kids. I'm a huge lap dog who likes to rough house (gently) with you and then hog your bed at night. Come and meet me at the adoption stand!
