Meet Axl! Needs FOSTER or ADOPTER! He is a young & very handsome, happy, playful, squishy-faced bundle of Bully. If you're familiar with Bully breeds, then you know, they often make sloppy, snorty noises when showered with affection & Axl is no different; his entire body wiggles with delight. He's basically a big puppy, born in early March, 2015 per our vet.
Axl goes on daily walks & loves his outdoor activities; he gets really excited when he sees you coming with his leash. He's super smart & is still learning basic manners and basic commands. Unfortunately, all our foster homes are full so he is in boarding at this time so he isn't having as much time spent with him as he needs and as we would like.
Axl has a somewhat larger-than-life presence and rock star good looks... Axl is a diamond in the rough. With more time and training, we know he'll continue to flourish. Even in boarding, Axl has time outside of his kennel every day... He's slowly catching up to where he needs to be with his social skills. With a family of his own, fully committed to his happiness and well being, the sky's the limit!
Axl is current on his vaccines, he's been neutered and he takes monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms. He's not been tested off leash with other dogs, however he boards harmoniously in adjoining kennels with others. A home without cats is best.

About Lone Star Doberman Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an all-volunteer rescue organization that uses a network of people who love Dobermans to transport dogs, perform home visits, and check references. We are a 100% foster home based rescue and do not have a kennel or facility you can visit. Each of our dogs are in different foster dogs an we schedule meet/greets with approved applicants with dogs of interest who are a potential match for their home.

We run entirely on donations. If you can't adopt a dog at this time, why not consider making a financial contribution to provide the food and veterinary care of the dogs we rescue? It allows us to save more dogs. Using, send to
