Axl's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Axl's Story...
Axl is apprx 15 months old, potty trained, loves walks, does well with other dogs, and is a total love bug. His whole body wags when he's happy, which is pretty much all the time that he is not sleeping. He has grown up in rescue under loving care and has always been a great boy. He is super smart and loves to learn. He has been waiting a long time because of his breed... unfortunately most people aren't interested in adopting a bully breed.... he is a gorgeous boy who deserves a family of his own. He is fully vetted and ready now to meet his forever family. (No cats please.) Contact Project Paws 903-874-3722 for more info or to adopt.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Axl, a Fort Worth American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
