Mikey's Story...
Meet Mikey! This young boy is around 8 months old, he is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Mikey was picked up in LA as a stray and was severely under weight. He's been in a loving foster home receiving wonderful care and putting on some much needed weight. Mikey loves everyone and is good with other dogs both big and small. He is a playful puppy so another playful dog would be an ideal match for him. Mikey has been introduced to crate training, walks well on leash and knows some basic obedience. Email to learn more about Mikey or to inquire about adopting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mikey, a Eugene Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Eugene, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Eugene.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eugene already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eugene breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eugene paves the way for another one to be saved.
