We welcome our latest arrival to the Harrison County Dog Pound in Cadiz, OH. This gorgeous white Boxer mix was found on Rte. 9 in Jewett near the Pentacostal Church. She was taken to Gold Star Kennel until the pound opened and we could pick her up. We've named her SOPHIE. This girl is between 1-2 year old, well behaved, and oh so affectionate. She wants to be near you, prefers to sit on furniture rather than the floor, walks well on a leash and while at Gold Star, she wasn't the least bit interested in other dogs, including the Great Dane 3 times her size next to her. SOPHIE is a wonderful girl who would be forever grateful to whoever offers her a life time of love.

HARRISON COUNTY DOG POUND, 28900 Toot Road Cadiz, Ohio 43907, (740) 942-4080. $35.00 adoption fee which includes the dog license tag for the year. Effective June 1, 2015: Hours: Monday - Friday 10AM-4PM; Saturday 9AM-2PM; Sundays and holidays CLOSED.
