Wilson's Story...
Wilson is a handsome black and tan male German Shepherd who is about 3 years old. He is a soft loving boy who likes everyone he has met. Wilson gets along with other dogs large and small and has been good with cats. He likes a quieter life style in general due to his soft nature. He is smart and playful and figured out the dog door quickly. Wilson loves to put his head in your lap for petting. He is crate-trained and house-trained and walks well on a leash. Wilson is fully vetted and ready to start his new life with his forever family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wilson, a Walnut Creek German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Walnut Creek, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Walnut Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walnut Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walnut Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walnut Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
