My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LeeLa is a gorgeous Maine Coon mix that was rescued in December 2014. She is about 2 years old and the poor gal only had one functioning eye. The other was just an empty socket. Her rescue mom took her to the vet where she had an eye enucleation (removal) surgery and she is doing really well. Her eye socket is healed and stitches have been removed. She is now ready to start looking for her forever home. LeeLa would do best in a quiet home without small children. She is on the shy side and will need an owner that is willing to be patient with her as she warms up to her new environment. She will slowly learn to trust as she has with her rescue mom and eventually warms up to being petted and loved on. She doesn't seem to mind the other cats and one of her favorite pastimes is eating canned food, she loves it! She is spayed, current on vaccinations and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Her estimated date of birth is late 2012/early 2013.
