Reba was found by a nice person and brought to us to help her. Reba has been through a lot before coming to us. Due to the trauma she has a head tilt. It does not affect her health, she is great. Reba is very quiet and sweet. If you are looking for a lovable lap baby, look no further. Reba loves to cuddle, to be held, ear rubs, and all the love you can give.

All of ours cats have been Feline leukemia and feline aids tested negative, spayed or neutered, vaccinated with FVRCP and FELV, rabies vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. Reba has an adoption fee of $75.

About Our Shelter...

Acadiana Animal Aid is a no-kill shelter founded in 1974. We are a chartered, non-profit animal shelter and adoption center. Our shelter provides a safe haven for dogs and cats until good homes are found for them. We do not discriminate against any animal due to size, age, color, or breed. All our animals are spayed/neutered, and fully vetted. We do not euthanize for any reason, other than medically-directed circumstances.

We are open Monday thru Friday 12-4. Please feel free to come by.
Cat visiting hours are 7 days a week from 8am-2pm.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fee is $150.00 for dogs and $75 for cats aged one to six years old and adoption fee waived for cats over 3 years old. The adoption process starts with an adoption application, available on our website
