Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet one of the coolest boys to ever find rescue out of the south. Super handsome Kavik is a two year old, 50lb mix of Husky and Australian Shepherd. This energetic and outgoing sweetheart is ready for an active and adventurous home in the northwest. Kavik loves people, is super affectionate and has an adorable one blue eye and one brown eye. Rescued off a north Georgia small airport property, Kavik won the hearts of the airport staff who sought out a rescue’s help before his love of people and curious nature got him injured while living at Dalton Airport. He was happy being the “airport dog” after showing up announced and with no owner a few weeks back. They enjoyed having him there, loved having him around the small airport office- and he enjoyed meeting the planes, pilots and passengers. But all decided that it wasn’t the safest or smartest place for him. So now he’s safely in foster care in Woodinville, WA and awaiting his terrific new forever family. Smart and dog-friendly Kavik is very smart, knows basic commands and is awesome on a leash. He will be an excellent exercise partner and can’t wait to meet the mountains and the beach for nice hikes and tons of outdoor time. Kavik is doing great in foster care with dogs, babies and cats, as well as two adults. Kavik would love to attend a training class with you and maybe do some agility. He is crate trained and house trained and neutered. Kavik is fully vaccinated and micro-chipped and ready to meet you now. His adoption fee is $500 and you can complete an online application at www.raincityrescue.com. Any questions about this amazing and so deserving Kavik, please email Pam at raincityrescue@gmail.com.
