Sometimes I look at people and I think, "Gosh, I wonder what they're really like?"
It's so hard to tell from first impressions! But then, I'm like that, too...
I mean, when you first meet me, you might think, "Oh, that cat is shy. He doesn't want to play. He doesn't want to be petted. He must not like people very much." But I can tell you flat out, that is NOT who I am!
My name is Zorro and I'm SUPER FRIENDLY! I'm a goofy player with a big body and a tiny purr. And I love to be loved on!
Of course, I'm a little unsure of new people at first, but a cat has to be careful these days. I mean, I've heard about identity theft and stuff. I don't want anyone buying a boat in my name and sticking me with the bill! I'm a cat! I can't pay for a boat! So I'm a little careful, that's all. But once you show me that you're nice (and not going to buy a boat and stick me with the bill), I'm all about the loving!
So, if you're looking for a super friendly cat with a big body and a tiny purr who just loves to be played with and petted, please come by and ask for Zorro - that's me! He has a chronic weepy eye but no meds are usually needed. Hey, who's perfect anyways?

Zorro has been vaccinated, wormed, spayed/neutered and tested negative for FELV/FIV which is all included in the $60 adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this cat, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays) All cats must leave the shelter in a carrier. If you do not bring one with you, one must be purchased at the shelter if available for $5.
