My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ATTR was lucky enough to be able to pull Trooper & Rodger from Aurora AC. They trusted that we would find them a home to be adopted into together. Trooper is a 5 year old American Bulldog mix and Rodger is a 3 year old French Bulldog. We are looking for a home that can adopt them together. They spent a week with us in our adoption center and did great with kids and people of all ages and gender. They really seem to like everyone. Trooper does not do well with cats, so we are looking for a home without cats for sure. If there are other dogs in the home we would want slow introductions to be done and work with our Trainer and Rescue Team members to get our bonded pair integrated into a home with dogs already. Trooper and Rodger are currently in a foster home with kids. Rodger the French Bulldog appears to be healthy for a French Bulldog but we would the adopters to be prepared to deal with all medical issues that may arise with the breed. They are a really fun pair of dogs to be around and really love people. They have been through a lot losing their family, spending time in our adoption center and now a foster home. We hope to find a forever home soon for them that will take their time to get to know them and really spend time getting them settled into a family they can call their own. Trooper & Rodger are looking for their forever home together! Fill out an application online in the Get Involved section at www.alsiptotherescue.org to meet them.
THEY ARE A BONDED PAIR AND MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER. Trooper is not a fan of cats, so no cats. We are not sure about other dogs yet. POTENTIAL ADOPTERS NEED TO FILL OUT AN APPLICATION ONLINE.

Alsip To The Rescue (ATTR) strives as a rescue to make sure that when our adopters take home their new rescue they feel they have the support and access to all resources which ATTR can provide. If you want to learn how you can set your new rescue up to succeed and blend in with your family come to our Meet The Trainer sessions each weekend. We will give you tips on what to do when you first bring home a new rescue. Saturday at Noon in St John and Sunday at Noon in Frankfort are free Meet The Trainer sessions with more free sessions to be added during the week soon. Fill out an application in the Get Involved section to meet our rescues. www.alsiptotherescue.org!
They will come with some free training sessions to help get them transitioned into a forever home.
