Hello Everyone! My name is Cooper and I am a happy healthy boy, about 4 to 5 years old, and weighing in at 27 pounds. I am a Beagle/English Bulldog combo. I was originally dropped off at a shelter after hours so no one knows my past but me and all I can tell you is that I have a scar around my neck from my collar being too tight. I spent over a year at the shelter and when no one adopted me SASS Rescue stepped up and gave me a second chance. Since then I have been in a wonderful foster home, living the good life. But I am ready to find my forever home.
At first I was nervous around people but I am doing much better. I have learned that people don’t want to hurt me – they just want to pet me. I am very good in my crate and will hang out in there with the door open. I do very well with kids and love my foster mom’s 3 year old granddaughter. We snuggle together. I love, love, love to take walks and walk nicely on a leash. After a good walk I mostly want to nap.
I am house trained and know how to use a doggie door. I ride very well in the car and will sit in the seat and look out the window along the way. I do get along with the other dogs in my foster home but can play a little rough with them. I am a sweet fella and very quiet. I don’t need a lot of attention….just love. Adoption fee is $100. Cooper is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, on heart and flea preventive and micro chipped. Fenced yard required
