Here's what the humans have to say about me:
GIZZY - Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix, male, 1 year, 12 lbs. Good with dogs, visiting kids, no cats. If you're looking for a pint-sized buddy who thinks everything is an adventure, Gizzy is your guy! What he lacks in size and brains, he makes up for double in personality. You'll never be bored with Gizzy around, as his antics provide a constant source of entertainment; he is particularly fond of stealing shoes and hoarding toys. Gizzy's other hobbies include running, long walks, playing fetch, and cuddling on the couch. He is very affectionate and loves to lean against your legs like a cat. Gizzy is definitely not a "one person" dog -- while he will gladly follow his person from room to room, he has no sense of loyalty and will abandon you in seconds if he sees a free lap! Needless to say, Gizzy is very friendly and greets everyone he meets with a wagging tail and kisses. He is also loves with other dogs of all sizes and plays endlessly with his foster family's 75 lb Golden Retriever. Gizzy is housebroken, crate-trained, walks well on the leash, and loves car rides. He is not good with cats, and would do best in an adult-only home with a fenced yard.
** If you are interested in adopting this dog, you must first complete an adoption application at http://peppertree.org/adoptapp.php. Or visit our site (http://peppertree.org/adoptlist.php) and learn about other Peppertree dogs. *Note: visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
