ANNE's Story...
My name is ANNE. I'm a little white girl cat. One day last week my "Mom" went out and did not come back. I heard the ladies that came to give us (me and my 3 kitty friends) food say that she was sick and had to go a nursing home. I am so scared. I hope someone will come and adopt us so we will not be alone all the time. We live inside and have never been out. I love people; I love to sit on their lap while we watch TV together and to cuddle at night. (I must tell you, though, I am afraid of loud noises. They scare me.) I am spayed and have all my shots and, of course, I'm litter trained.. I am small, about 8 lbs. and sooooo cute. You will love me when you see me. Please email or call my friend, Libby, at....... or meet me. Please, I am waiting for you......

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ANNE, a Memphis Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Memphis, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Memphis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Memphis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Memphis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Memphis paves the way for another one to be saved.
