Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Afrojack (Jack) is an American guinea pig who gets his name from his very obvious "afro"! A younger guinea pig, he loves to curl up in hoodie pockets, but would need supervision around young/inexperienced handlers. Jack loves to talk when petted and settles down quite quickly once held. He is a bit apprehensive about being picked up but with time and patience he learns to trust his humans. He would do best as an only guinea pig in a home where he will get lots of attention, as he isn't a fan of other males. His adoption fee is $35
RCHS guinea pigs live in loving foster homes where they are socialized, given sufficient exercise outside of their cage, and fed a diet of grass hay, Timothy pellets, and fresh vegetables daily to maintain a healthy weight. Guinea pigs do require a vet trained in exotic animal medicine and have special housing and dietary needs. We encourage you to please research guinea pigs thoroughly before adopting.
