Outlaws Like Me's Story...
With a name like Outlaw you would think he breaks the house laws. Nothing is further from the truth, this quiet, shy boy is 3 years old and is learning the laws of his foster home quickly. His foster family says he is settling in very nicely. He walks well on lead and likes his crate. Outlaw is a nice size boy at 75 lbs. From the first picture you may notice he had to have his ear stitched up. It is healing nicely and once the staples are removed it will not affect his life at all. His adoption fee of $250 covers his neuter, teeth cleaning, heartworm test and microchip. He is ready for his new home. If you think Outlaw would be the perfect fit for your family please call Bob or Janet at 941 423-1568 to meet him. He is located in Sarasota.
Fast Friends always welcomes foster homes for these adoptable retired racers. This is a rewarding way to find out what living life with a Grey is all about!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Outlaws Like Me, a Sarasota Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Sarasota, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Sarasota.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sarasota already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sarasota breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sarasota paves the way for another one to be saved.
