Tilly's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Tilly's Story...
Tilly came from a 20 year old feral cat colony in Wilton Manors that was down to one old timer. She was extremely calm when we trapper her so we wanted to give her a chance at a better life. Tilly is shy but coming along nicely. She rooms with Cheeto and Dorito who have helper her come out of her shell. She is becoming more outgoing and interested in everything that goes on in our adoption center. We are looking for someone who is willing to be patient with her and might have another cat at home for company. If you are interested in meeting Tilly, please come to our Adoption Center at Boomerangs Thrift Store. We have adoption applications available there as well and also online at www.strayaid.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tilly, a Fort Lauderdale Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Fort Lauderdale, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Fort Lauderdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Lauderdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Lauderdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Lauderdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
