Chico's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Chico's Story...
Chico came from a shelter that was full and you know what that would mean. He was also owner surrender which would not have been good if more dogs came in. We asked why the owners turned him in and they gave no answer to the shelter. Chico has a great personality and loves everything and everyone. He is a pure breed Chihuahua. He is about 5lbs and around a year old. He is fully vetted meaning fixed, current on all shots, heart worm negative, micro chipped and on monthly prevention. Because he is so small we always recommend tiny dogs going to older children. We are working on his potty training. He is full of energy and loves to play with other dogs of all sizes, we are not sure on cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chico, a Allentown Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
