Meg's Story...
Meg is the sweetest! Her mom lost their home and could no longer care for her. Meg is a Lab and Great Pyrenees. Her mom is the Great Pyrenees. This girl is a big beautiful girl with a big heart. She loves her people and her toys. She has been a family dog and really misses being part of a family. She is still trying to understand why she is in a shelter. We have found her to be very loyal and loving. She loves to be in the house, but also loves the great outdoors. Our hopes is to find Meg her new family soon to mend her broken heart!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Meg, a Sonoma Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees for sale in Sonoma, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Sonoma.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sonoma already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sonoma breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sonoma paves the way for another one to be saved.
