Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Clementine is a wonderful girl!.
She had a rough start, as evidenced by her rescue pictures found on our facebook page. She was horribly emaciated. It took quite some time to get her healthy and now she is. She is just about 25 lbs and comes to knee height - perfect medium size girl.
We took Clementine to our trainer in Calgary Megan Brown, and Chasin' Tails Dog Care Center. She did amazing. They worked with her as she was, as one could imagine, not very trusting of humans and was very fearful. After a few weeks with love and training we can say that Clementine is a different dog. She is loving and very accepting of humans now. She understands that not all humans are horrible; That humans can be kind
Here is what Megan has to say....."Clementine is a very sweet girl who has been living with us at Chasin' Tails for the past two weeks. In her time with us she has blossomed into a very confident and spunky girl. She's an independent girl who likes her space, and needs a bit of warming up, but in her time with us she has really come out of her shell. She loves meeting new people, and especially loves bum scratches! She is learning new things every day, and would make a wonderful addition to someone's family"

We are a registered non profit society. All our dogs are vaccinated, sterilized and are fostered in homes with families.
NOBARS believes that a dog is best assessed for a new home environment by living in one!!!! Therefore we do not use kennels, but have a network of approved foster homes where our dogs can be properly assessed before being offered for rehoming. Our foster homes offer a varied range of experiences which means we can choose an appropriate foster home for each dog, but it also means our dogs are able to experience situations which are invaluable to owners looking to take on a new forever friend, such as children, cats and other dogs.
