My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wyatt is a true southern gentleman who is looking for a forever home. This sweet dog absolutely loves children and really enjoys being around people. He was adopted from the shelter as a 4 month old puppy and grew up with a toddler, cats and another dog in the home and did beautifully with everyone. Unfortunately, family circumstances changed, work schedules were extended and there was no time for Wyatt, who had grown into an adolescent who needed more attention and exercise. The family had a nice big fenced in yard for Wyatt and he never jumped over or dug out but he did bark when he saw any neighbors out. Wyatt was lonely and wanted desperately to be with people. The family knew it would be in Wyatt's best interest to find a home where there were a few kids to play with and lots of things going on. He does not mind hustle and bustle and activity. He goes with the flow and is a gentle boy. Wyatt enjoys playing with toys but is a bit baffled when they squeak at him. Please bring your family out to meet Wyatt and see if he could be the guy for you. We meet families at our adoption center in downtown Mocksville by appointment only so you must call 336.251.8877 first to set that up. Tony can answer any of your questions about Wyatt when you call to make the appointment. Prior to the meeting we will need to have your adoption application on file. Our form can be completed online at www.cedarfarmrescue.com . Wyatt is 18 months old and weighs 43 lbs. He is crate-trained, housebroken, neutered, microchipped and ready to find a forever home. He is up to date on his vaccines. Wyatt has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. He has nice leash manners and will be a joy to walk through the neighborhood or in the park. We look forward to introducing you to Wyatt!
