Ambrosia is a 16 month old female. She is crate trained and housebroken. She gets along great with other dogs, loves all people, children included. She is spayed, current on her vaccines, microchipped, fecal checked negative and finished with her heartworm treatment(she came in HW Pos). She resides in Northern Virginia near Fredericksburg.
**Update 10/27/15**
Ambrosia will begin her heartworm treatment next week. Yes, this sweet girl that just turned a year old is heartworm positive. When she was rescued from the hoarding situation she was just 12 weeks old, at that point she had already contracted heartworm disease. Before HSUS released the dogs, everyone was re-tested, many of the dogs that were negative before came up positive and Ambrosia was one of them. She is young and spry so we are positive that she will do great curing her treatment. Ambrosia is doing great with potty training as well as crate trained. Her leash manners are coming along as well. She will make a wonderful addition to someone's home once she completes her treatment.
**Update 11/16/2015**
Ambrosia had her first immiticide injection for her heartworm treatment. She goes back next month December 16/17 for her 2nd and 3rd treatments. She will be available for adoption after the Christmas Holidays.
**Update 12/16-12/17**
Ambrosia had her second, overnight stay and third immiticide injections for her heartworm treatment. She is now on 30 days of restricted activity and crate rest and will be available for adoption the second week of January.
**Update 01/17/16**
Ambrosia is finished with her heartworm treatment and she is available to an approved home.
