Alex is a beautiful vizsla/pit mix being fostered in MA. He is a high-energy dog who loves snuggling as much as playing outside! He absolutely loves all possible treats and (so far) has nothing he really dislikes- how cute is that? Alex knows how to 'sit' and is learning other basic commands. He is a very friendly dog and is beginning to understanding how to maintain personal boundaries and not pull on his leash while on walks. He will need slow and good introductions to men. Ales is a lot of fun to be around and his happy energy is infectious!

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application at survivortails.org or email adoptions@survivortails.org with any questions.

We can only adopt in the states of Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Hampshire.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alex, a Boston Vizsla/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Vizsla/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Boston, or seeking a Vizsla/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Vizsla/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Vizsla/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
