My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDAYE ON BUDDY 8-15-16:

Buddy just spent 2 weeks at Meadowbrook Kennel for some basic training and to learn how to be a "normal" dog. Buddy is now a brand new confident dog and we are amazed at the difference in him.. He's doing really well walking on a leash and now greets people with a happy face and wagging tail.

Buddy is 4-5 yrs old and weights 55 lbs. He's house trained and rides great in the car. Buddy also loves other dogs and is really good with *small children. He's an excellent snuggler but would also make a great running partner. He's a dog that just wants to please his people and receive their love. Buddy has had a hard life. He's a survivor and a fighter and now he needs a person or family to love and love him in return.

********************************************************************************************************************
Buddy's story with us began the morning of November 5th 2014. I was on my way to work and had taken the back way, which is a gravel road that goes around the side of a mountain. Buddy was searching along the side of the road for food scraps or literally anything he could eat because he was starving. Form the moment I spotted him I knew he was coming home with me and I would do whatever I had to do to catch him. Thankfully, he was only a little frightened and I was able to win him over with my lunch. At a mere 38 lbs we had to introduce food to him slowly because he had gone so long with out food and his body wasn't used to digesting the food. He is in perfect health now and awaiting the right person or family to come along and give him plenty of love, care and kibble!

**Buddy is up to date on Vaccines and Neutered.**
