We hold a monthly adoption event on the last Saturday of each month from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. at Bargersville Veterinary Hospital, 4253 N. State Road 135, Franklin, IN 46131. Direct questions to: general@hopemariesfund.org
Tofu came to the attention of a Hope Marie's Fund foster when she saw his poor sad face on the Facebook Rescue page. He looked so sad, she simply had to go and get him. L ikes: treats and spray cheese, laying on soft blankets, sitting/sleeping right up against my humans. Dislikes: little yippie chihuahuas. Nicknames: Toffer, Tofurkey, Toferoni.
My name is Tofu and I have been with my foster family for about three weeks now. They do not think I have ever lived inside of a house before as I find most everything a mystery. I finally figured out glass and my reflection. I LOVE the thing they call "couch." I am shy and take a while to warm up- but once I trust you I will not leave your side! My foster mom says I should be in a house with children over 10 and dogs over 30 pounds due to my shyness and ease to become fearful of things. I am a sharpei for sure with my stubborness but really want to please. I am very smart and learn fast!
I am neutered and fully vetted and microchipped. I weigh about 40 pounds. I have a large head and medium body--which lends to my favorite joke. It goes like this: Tofu walked into a bar and the bartender said, hey Tofu-why the long face?? Haha
Please consider coming to meet me! I would love to interview you as a perspective fur-ever home candidate.
Sincerely, Tofu
Tofu's adoption fee is $175 and includes neuter, vaccinations, veterinary wellness exam and microchip. Tofu will come with a training addendum to be sure he goes to a home willing to work with him.
