My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ethel is already a year old, but you would never think it by the looks of her. She weighs less than 6lb, and has the trusting and playful demeanor of a kitten.  When our volunteers met Ethel for the first time, she didn't think twice about throwing herself into our arms, purring the world away, and being completely oblivious to her surroundings. Even when Ethel was in a new environment, with people she never met before, all she wanted to do was to be in someone's arms. Unlike almost all other cats, she didn't care to explore the new place, only to be as friendly as quickly as possible to the new person standing before her. Ethel would do well in any home, but has made us promise to look for that extra cuddly one.

This little purr machine was rescued from a North Carolina kill shelter just as she was about to be killed. Her crime? She was there, abandoned by someone she loved, and was afraid of all the noises.

Ethel is already spayed, up to date with her vaccines, and has tested negative for both FeLV and FIV. The only thing missing in Ethel's life is someone to call her own. Will you be the one for Ethel?
