Peaches's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Peaches's Story...
Peaches was rescued from a kill shelter with a bunch of kittens (since adopted). She took some time to relax, recover from nursing and figure out what to do with her life. she decided that she liked to eat and sleep. She gained weight and became grumpy - keeping up with tortie tradition. She still is quite beautiful and we think wh will be much happier and less grumpy as an only or a second cat. She is fine with cats just not too many. She is lazy and decorative. She likes chin rubs (although not belly rubs)

Peaches is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peaches, a Brooklyn American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
