Hank's Story...
Meet Hank! This boy can't contain his happiness! A little shy at first, you'll quickly see that he wants nothing more than to get close to you. He will run around the yard, then stop to check in and give you a little hug.

Hank is opening up and getting comfortable in his foster home! He LOVES playing with the other dogs and so excited to be out of the shelter and in a home. He's quiet in his crate, gentle taking treats, and gives small sweet kisses. Never one to step on toes, he hesitates at doors to wait for you to invite him in or out. All around a great gentleman!

2 years old, 55lb retriever/rottie mix, He's full grown and would love a forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hank, a Tallahassee Rottweiler/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Tallahassee, or seeking a Rottweiler/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Tallahassee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tallahassee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tallahassee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Rottweiler/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tallahassee paves the way for another one to be saved.
