Rottweiler, male, 5-7 years, 85 lbs. Kota came from SC where an individual who found him wandering got him to safety. Once this this goofy guy feels he can trust you, he loves to snuggle up with you and be by your side - he'll be your extra shadow! Kota does not like other dogs up in his personal space, but might enjoy the companionship of another mellow dog. He is kid-friendly and we think he would be ok in a home with a dog savvy cat. Kota enjoys taking a walk around the neighborhood and is a gentleman on the leash. He knows some basic commands like sit, down and come. Kota will take treats gently from your hand, but does not like other animals near his food bowl, so needs to be fed in his own space. Kota is currently undergoing heartworm treatment which will be completed at Peppertree's expense. He is housebroken and is kennel trained, but enjoys snuggling with you in bed at night. This big ol' bear loves to play with his toys and hop in the car for a spin around the town. Kota is a mellow boy, a gentle giant who is very laid back. He is very smart and eager to please. Kota is dedicated to his person/people and is best 1 on 1 or in a small group. This wonderful big dog will make a great addition to a home with Rottweiler experience
