ELSIE is a young pup with beautiful markings, soulful eyes and a heart that desperately wants to trust people. WINTER is a little under a year and is a petite, soft beauty begging to be loved. They were found as a strays with several other dogs during one of our coldest days recently. Our rescue team spent several hours trying to catch these dogs to bring them out of the cold and into the adoption center to find their forever homes. They had not had much interaction with humans and are warming up to us every day. Fear is being replaced by trust and the transformation is heartwarming. Patience & time are key in helping Elsie & Winter to trust. Elsies littermate Eli went home last week and is already trusting and learning how to relax and be a dog. They would probably do best in a home without small children. We would love to see them get into their forever homes soon.
