My name is Kaydee. I am an owner surrender cocker girl looking for a new forever home. I am a very nice, spayed chocolate cocker and I will be 5 years old this year. My family got me when I was 5 weeks old and I have had a great life. I was a house doggie and very loved. They had a baby this year and learned that I was very jealous of this new situation because I am a dog that needs a lot of love and attention. Sadly, they had to make a difficult decision and asked for rescue help to get me a great new home.
I am heartworm negative, updated on shots and current on flea prevention. I was evaluated at the rescue vet, had a rabies shot and they learned that my feet are sensitive and I do not like my nails clipped. They said that I will need a dental, so this will be done shortly. Overall, I am a healthy, friendly cocker girl and I will need a groomer who can work with me. I lived with other dogs in the household. They were very dog friendly and I did get along ok with kids that came to visit who were older than 10. I ride well in the car. I prefer women but will warm up to men after I get to know them. I will need a lot of love and attention. If you work from home or just need to leave for a few hours, that would be best for me. I do stress out a little with certain situations, so I might need some re-assurance and understanding from you. I would enjoy spending quality time with a younger couple who don't have any children or maybe an older couple that are still active and would like a walking pal so that I can get my exercise. I am a very strong girl on a leash. A home with a fenced backyard is recommended for me to do my business. Please give me the 2nd chance I deserve to have a loving, forever home.......I would love to be your new best friend and sweet baby girl.
