Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Randy aka Papa Bear #4050 is a sweet, goofy 7-year-old German Shepherd. Papa Bear is a big puppy-at-heart who loves to frolic and play. His favorite thing to do is roll around in the grass -- or snow-- and getting a belly rub. Papa Bear is adorably clumsy and gentle Papa Bear lived in a foster home with another dog and a cat and was fine with both. Check out his training video: https://youtu.be/0jzkZYVAeLM Papa Bear is on a special diet for his kidneys that will require his adopter to feed him a prescription dog food. The food is available through your veterinarian and at most PetSmart stores with a prescription. This food is comparable in price to other good quality dog foods. Papa Bear had a rough life before coming to rescue, but none of it slows him down. He will make a wonderful companion and playmate. He is full grown and weighs 57 pounds. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship.
