Valentine's Story...
Valentine is a super sweet Beagle that came to us from another shelter with some very bad skin issues that need to be addressed prior to us placing her in a home. She was so good for her much-needed bath, even with the sore red skin, so we think once she feels better she will be an amazing dog. We'll post more about her after she sees the vet.

If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out our dog adoption application here: Our dog adoption fee is $350. Every dog we place is vaccinated, wormed, treated for ticks/fleas, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash and a month's worth of heartworm preventative.

With very few exceptions, dogs are happiest and the most well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families who are willing to make a commitment to both.

All adoption meetings are by appointment only as we only have one employee. Our manager or one of our volunteers will be happy to set up an appointment for you to come meet the pets, but please fill out the adoption application first.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Valentine, a Medfield Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Medfield, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Medfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
