Facts about Daisy Mae

  • Breed: Retriever (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) Mix
  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Daisy Mae found herself alone in a scary kennel, and she was on borrowed time. She was pregnant and due to have her babies any day now. We quickly jumped into action to pull this sweet girl. She loved her babies and waited to to make sure all her babies found their forever homes. She is an absolute sweetheart, and may be reserved at first but warms up quickly. She prefers women over men but whoever scratches her chin, head or belly will be her best friend. She can be a little sensitive about her back-end until she trusts you. She needs a home with older kids (12 years or older). She doesn't mind other dogs but tends to be dominant. She doesn't care about cats. She LOVES to play ball, and will even sit for a ball or treat. She will entertain herself with toys, she doesn't care what kind, she loves them all. She also LOVES water.
